High humidity and inadequate HVAC systems exacerbating mold issues in school buildings throughout Western Massachusetts

LONGMEADOW — M. Martin O’Shea, the superintendent of Longmeadow schools, stated that Wolf Swamp Road School remains safe for occupancy following the discovery of suspected mold in a classroom last week.

An occupational and physical therapy classroom was temporarily closed after suspected growth was discovered on equipment and instructional materials.
